Making a Difference
Tim Forrest Consulting has a deep heart for the children of our world. We have devoted significant time and resources to helping young people build better lives and experience success in their unique environments.
Our endeavors include opening with Prayasam a Vocational Catering School in Calcutta, India and three additional schools in Indonesia and Africa with the goal of building 100 schools over the next decade. As part of this effort, we have been instrumental in the opening and success of the Hope School on the island of Java, Indonesia, where we consulted during the institution’s initial ideation, planning, funding and building stages. Our work helped the local community of families and instructors rally around the idea of having a school for their children. We also helped to source effective external models for administration, teaching and student management. Hope School would not exist today without Tim Forrest Consulting, and is an amazing example of the influence and efficacy of our business to impact community action on a global scale.
In 2015, we began supporting the efforts of Prayasam in Kolkata, India through expert guidance and financial support. To date, we have provided twelve complete scholarships for child brick kiln laborers to attend school for the first time. We have also developed a vocational food training program in partnership with Prayasam.
